COVID-19 and Medical Protocol
Your safety is my priority
My priority is the comfort, health, and safety of all collaborators involved in a project or photoscene. I would rather postpone a project or photoscene than risk anyone’s health.
I’ve been certified for HSI First Responder Training (CPR, AED, and First Aid), NAVEX Global Third Party Risk Management (Health and Safety), and BARBICIDE infection control and COVID-19. Additionally, I have multiple medical caregivers and pharmacists in my family, and previous employers include Tufts Medical Center, AstraZeneca, and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care.
So my partner and I are cautious and vigilant when it comes to sexually-transmitted infections, bloodborne pathogens, and respiratory infections. We have both been vaccinated for the flu as of Fall, 2022 COVID-19 as of April 2021, and second COVID-19 booster as of September 2022.
See my FAQ for a full list of my associations, as well as some of my medical, industry, security, and diversity training.
COVID-19 Protocol
I am currently accepting and working on projects that can be accomplished safely while adhering to COVID-19 guidelines.
I reserve the right to postpone a project if any collaborators are violating COVID-19 protocol or are showing symptoms of COVID-19 or any other medical distress.
All rooms in our home that are used for photography maintain positive pressure via a central HVAC system with MERV 12 filters, with additional standalone Dyson HEPA filters.
Our sunroom has been converted from three-season to four-season with additional insulation, and heated, positive-pressure, fresh-air ventilation.
Our dungeon, coined The Construct, is still in the process of being built, but will utilize a combination of HVAC with MERV 12 filters, Dyson HEPA filters, and UV light disinfection.
All collaborators (including models) visiting our home or The Construct must be vaccinated.
All non-fluid bonded collaborators should adhere to a six foot minimum for social distancing.
A sanitized “safe zone” will be designated around my photography, lighting, and network equipment. I respectfully request that you refrain from handling my equipment.
A container will be designated as a “danger zone” for any used props or equipment that require cleaning and sanitization. Once a prop or piece of equipment is placed in the “danger zone” container it is not to be reused until it is cleaned and sanitized.
