How do you pronounce Reify Joie?

I suppose I made the mistake of choosing a scene name that was not only difficult to pronounce, but also difficult to remember.

re·i·fy (ree·uh·fy or ray·uh·fy) zh·wa (zhuh·wuh).

So I’ll also answer to Rei (Ray), Joy, or my vanilla name if you’re privy to it.

What does Reify Joie mean?

I identify as a sensualist and service top, so I wanted to reflect that with my scene name.

To reify an abstract idea is to make that idea real. Joie is French for Joy. So Reinforcing Joy, or Making Joy Concrete.

I may have put too much thought into it…

What is a Construct?

From Neuromancer, and later popularized by The Matrix, a construct is a stored version of a person's particular skills and personal approaches to problems, or a loading program or virtual work space to run simulations.

A construct in the philosophy of science is an ideal object, where the existence of the thing may be said to depend upon a subject's mind or perception.
